DAVID B MOORE: PHOTOGRAPHER
David’s product photography has been in numerous catalogs,
including Nieman Marcus, Living Arts Catalog, Athleta Catalog, and Sundance. He has shot food for Blimpie’s, Taco Time,
Surf City, Samurai Sams' and Peter Piper Pizza. Cookbooks and
magazines such as Phoenix Home and Garden, Bon Appetit, and Food
and Lifestyle, have also called upon David’s keen eye and
easy going nature to present professional digital images.
David has been shooting digitally for the last six years and has a strong foundation in the formal fundamentals of photography. Those fundamentals were inspired by watching Ansel Adams print in his Carmel darkroom. Prior to the digital age of photography David taught Fine Art Photography in Los Angeles at various colleges and jr. colleges. He produced a workshop for the UCLA Extension, entitled “Images without Darkrooms”, where he taught alternative processes such as Palladium, Platinum, Polaroid Transfers and Photo Etching. This ran successfully for years until he moved to Arizona to pursue his Commercial Photography interests.
